Slurping Soup author reunion in Beijing

Authors Lucinda Willshire and Barbara Menezes managed a trip to Beijing at the same time in November 2012 and caught up with fellow authors and residents of Beijing, Ulrike Gemmer and Kathryn Tonges. Lucinda and family now reside in Australia and Barbara and family in Brazil. They lunched at The Opposite House Cafe, Sanlitun, and reminisced about fun times spent together collaborating on writing Slurping Soup.

Excitement built as they discussed the forthcoming second edition with Summertime publishing. They each wished their fellow authors Cherie Emigh and Maryam Afnan Ahmad, both residing in the USA, could have been with them at lunch.
