Slurping Soup book

Another international school, Beijing BISS, supports ‘Slurping Soup’.

The spring fair on 21 May was a truly international day for TCK’s and families at the BISS. A parade of each country represented at the school with children dressed in national dress, children’s performances, food and information stalls, fun activities all proved a hit with families. Beijing based authors Cherie Emigh and Kathryn Tonges showed their ‘Slurping Soup’ resource to curious families and teachers. Co author Ulrike Gemmer, expecting a baby any day now, was unable to join us on the day. We missed you Ulrike and wish you all the best!

'Slurping Soup' author Ulrike Gemmer's husband Marco and sons with Cherie and Kathryn. Ole's story about slurping soup is how the resource got its name.
